At your first visit from The Cleaning Fairy Co., we work diligently to bring your home to our high standard of cleanliness. First visits always take the longest, as buildup and dust are very common in all homes that have not had a regular cleaner. From there, we discuss with you regular cleanings that make sense for your home!

Before your fairies arrive, we will go through our detailed checklist with you to ensure everything important is covered. We will confirm how to access your home, whether you will be there to let us in, leave a key in a safe spot, or provide a door code-and discuss any special instructions like pets, preferred products, or delicate surfaces. Our fairies bring all the equipment and eco-friendly supplies, work efficiently and respectfully, and leave your home sparkling from top to bottom. Before we leave, we double-check each task from the checklist so you can come home to a beautifully clean and stress-free space!

Bathrooms

  • Exhaust fans & cobwebs

  • Tub & shower area scrubbed & washed

  • Sink scrubbed & washed

  • All points of contact cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)

  • Mirrors & outside of the medicine cabinet cleaned

  • Soap dish & toothbrush holder cleaned

  • Moulding & corners wiped clean

  • Door moulding dusted 

  • Vanity top cleaned – items removed & replaced

  • Towel bar & toilet paper holder wiped clean

  • Exterior of light fixtures dusted, if reachable

  • Baseboards dusted & wiped clean

  • Floors vacuumed & washed

  • Rubbish emptied, exterior of bin cleaned, bag replaced

  • Overall room appearance neat & tidy

Bedrooms

  • Ceiling fans dusted as needed, if reachable 

  • Cobwebs

  • Bed made & changed (if fresh linens are provided)

  • Furniture, mirrors, frames & accessories dusted & cleaned

  • Windowsills wiped clean

  • Moulding & corners wiped clean

  • Door moulding dusted 

  • All points of contact cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)

  • Baseboards dusted & wiped clean

  • Counters cleaned – all items removed & replaced if possible (unclutter)

  • Cupboard fronts and handles

  • Faucet and Sink cleaned & polished (if any dishes, load dishwasher and wash dishes if requested)

  • Stove tops and backsplash cleaned

  • Kitchen table and chairs wiped down & organized

  • Furniture, mirrors, frames, & accessories dusted & cleaned

  • Outside of the fridge, cleaned

  • Ceiling fans dusted as needed, if reachable

  • Outside of the dishwasher is cleaned

  • Exterior of all appliances on counters wiped clean,

  • The interior of the microwave is cleaned 

  • All points of contact cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)

  • Moulding & corners wiped clean

  • Door moulding dusted 

  • Windowsills wiped clean

  • Baseboards dusted & wiped clean

  • Rubbish emptied, exterior of bin wiped down, bag replaced 

  • Overall room appearance neat & tidy

  • Floors vacuumed & washed

  • Fold laundry (2 baskets maximum)
